This series is an on-going project started more then 10 years ago.
They are portraits mostly taken inside the artists own working space, and some photographed in a gallery context.
In either case the individuals photographed, their work, and the physical space become one.
My take on the work they produce is irrelevant for this project and not used as a criteria when selecting artists to be portrayed.
These are all people I actually know, and like myself, have their studio practice playing a very important part in their daily lives.
I am interested in the artist as an individual.
And ultimately, I see their studios are an extension of themselves.
