Life is certainly our most valuable asset. We are prepared to do virtually anything to keep our own going.
Although we may be conscious of that as individuals, as a species we fail on recognizing life as a planet’s common asset.
Looking at it on perspective, the planet itself is alive carrying with it (as we do in our bodies) a infinite number of different forms of life.
The contemporary world tends to isolate human beings from other life forms, and that is what “We & the Others” is about.
The aim of the series is not to advocate any particular approach to nature and the environment. It is rather a series of comments about human interference and (lack of) ability to relate with other beings.
